This year, Record Store Day’s sister event, Black Friday, returns on Friday 28th November with a stacked lineup of special releases, exclusively for independent record shops. Highlights include limited edition vinyl from Sam Fender & Olivia Dean, Fred again.., Icona Pop & Charli XCX, Bruno Mars, Maribou State, Billie Eilish, Young Fathers and over 100 artists across a variety of genres, ensuring something for every music fan.

With over 270 UK stores participating, it’s a day dedicated to the passion and dedication of record shop owners, staff, and customers.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1How do I get a particular release?
Record Store Day releases are only available, in-store, through Record Store Day Shops from the date of Record Store Day. Stores are not permitted to reserve a product for customers so you will need to visit the store early on Record Store Day to get the release you're after!
2Will you be stocking XYZ release?
Not all stores carry every release. Indeed with over 400 releases for Record Store Day, it is almost impossible for a shop to carry every title. That is why we advise customers to contact us before the day to find out what we are stocking. You can let us know what titles you would like to see at Spin Sounds!
3Can I pre-order / reserve Record Store Day products?
Stores are bound by the Record Store Day code of conduct which prohibits them from reserving the product for customers or allowing customers to pre-order products.
